One more day before the Fifth Element Comic Launch

The long awaited Fifth Element comic will be launched tomorrow at the Lusaka Arts Festival at the Lusaka international Community School LICS.

For us at Foresight Comics, it feels like its been a long time coming. We set out to make comic books in Zambia, something very rare in the country.

Since founding in 2015, Foresight Comics has published  #TheSweeperComic, an action-adventure series that span two issues, released in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Nowadays, Foresight feels they are ready to resume comic book production, and the first chosen title for this comeback is The Fifth Element, a comic book about climate change.

Foresight Chief Creative Officer Mwelwa Musonko announced that he is confident Zambia will finally warm up to comic books and art in general.

The Fifth Element Comic book is supported by the German Embassy to Zambia and it is possible that many supporters may pop up along the way.

The Launch of the title is set for the Lusaka Arts festival at LICS tomorrow, the 4th of May 2018, between 17:00 hours and 21:00 hours.

Foresight will then continue to promote the launch the following day at this years Lusaka Comic Con, LsCon, at the American Dome in the showgrounds.

We are but hours away!

Thank you for supporting Zambian Comics and African art.
